There are plenty of ways you can pay your residential account.

Credit card

You can pay your bill quickly and securely with your credit card. We accept MasterCard ® and Visa and American Express ® credit cards and debit cards.

Note that a credit card merchant service fee may apply.

Pay by direct debit

Direct debit is the easy way to ensure your bills are paid on time and guarantees your pay by due date discounts, if applicable. You'll still receive your bill to review before the payment is automatically deducted.

Set up your direct debit by using one of the following options:

Contact your bank, building society or credit union to make payments from your account. Your biller code can be found on your latest bill.

Australia Post

You can pay your bill over the counter or over the phone with Australia Post. If you use your credit card, a merchant service fee may apply. To pay by phone, call 131 816 and have your biller code handy.

Centrepay through Centrelink

Centrepay is a voluntary payment method offered by Centrelink and available to all customers receiving Centrelink payments. Contact us and we’ll set up a regular funds transfer for you.

Manage your payments with Regular Pay

You can make it easier to manage your household’s energy bills with a Regular Pay plan, our flexible instalment plan available to all residential customers.

With a set instalment amount at a frequency that suits you, it’s a simple way to help you budget as you’ll know how much you need to pay and when. Learn more.

Late payment fee may apply

A late payment fee may be charged to overdue accounts for some plans.

As of 29 January 2019, we removed late payment fees on pay on time discount plans such as Secure Saver and Flexi Saver.

If you're worried you can't pay on time, you can request a payment extension or contact us on as soon as possible.
